Looking for a good, affordable option for a smart watch to help me keep tabs on where my kids are. I have heard good things about the gizmo. Any suggestions welcomed!

We have a Gabb. Functionality is totally fine and everything we need. But, I’ve noticed that older elementary kids don’t like the look of it and would prefer something that looked closer to an Apple Watch 🙄 it’s just bigger and more square than an Apple Watch.

We have the GABB and my kids all love it. I like it because they can be tracked and they know how to use it easily. The app is convenient as well. You can control also who can call in/out.

Gabb watch for the win! It’s exactly why I bought one for my son especially when he was with my ex and I had no idea where he was taking him. You control the contact list (only 20) and zero social media. You can text them and they can text back, too. It’s great!

@LBChamp At what age did you let your kids have these?

We also have a GABB for when my son rides his bike around the neighborhood. Bonus is for events like Halloween and carnival at school so I can easily track him.

If you want an option just for tracking, I use AirTags when my kids go out or at big events (theme parks, kid-friendly festivals, large group events like Halloween, riding their bike to a friends, etc.) There are watch bands that hold air tags so I throw those on their wrist for my oldest and for my younger kids, I buy the dog tag air tag holder but hook it to their shoes. If you want an option that just allows you to see where they are (no calling or screens) it helps! https://a.co/d/8byyrJj

We have a Gabb watch. Very comparable to the Gizmo. Its very easy and affordable. There's not much to it, which is fine by me because I mostly want it for communication and being able to know where my kiddo is.

We also did a Gabb. Ultimately decided on that vs an air tag bc we can communicate via text and call. We have it locked during school hours and it stays charged in our kitchen unless one of the kids needs it. I also read that air tags can get hacked which mildly freaked me out.

Apple Watch was too close to a phone for us. Gabb was good middle ground
