I love seeing the pictures of them smiling and having fun and not on screens at home. And Iβm also loving the break from bedtimes, the mental load of logistics etc Itβs surprising to me. Anyone else?? Or am I just cold-hearted?
44 here π And I have tried and tried to get the scar to go away, but at this point, I'm thinking of just putting a ring back in. Will that just show my age more or who cares?
Lack of discipline is the issue. Allows her kidβs emotions to run the household and never follows thru on boundaries or consequences. I love my friend but itβs affecting my kids in pretty big ways.
It is entirely possible that the other moms are ass holes, but still I feel like I shouldn't be getting my feelings hurt as often as I am. Motherhood has been the hardest time in my life for peer rejection, or at least what feels like peer rejection. Would love advice on how you've overcome this!
Is everyone as stressed out about summer camps and managing the schedule of a new camp every week, as well as dropoff pickups etc. Other than spreadsheets, how does everyone manage this?
There has got to be a better way, does anyone have a process or any advice???
I've always been a great sleeper and recently i've been waking up at 2am and have to take one of my kid's melatonins to go back to sleep.
Don't tell me perimenopause. I can't accept that. But also I recently had my labs done by a functional dr and I should be okay.
What are y'all doing/taking etc to sleep well at night?
I'm talking dress up days, extracurriculars, jersey color, teacher birthdays, birthday parties, sign ups, all the things. What is your system to keeping everything straight and not going insane? I feel like i'm dropping so many balls
I would never (obviously), but when you get that intense urge to just runaway from your house bc itβs so overwhelming and you just want a break!!!! How do you cope? Would rather not drink alcohol, although no judgement
What AI tool is your favorite, and what AI prompts are you using to make life easier as a mom - meal planning, scheduling, etc.? I'd love to hear if anyone has found super helpful uses!
