    At what age did you stop brushing your child's teeth and let them do it independently? We tried letting our daughter do it for a stretch of time because it was something she really battled us over... that backfired with multiple cavities. When does it become an age-appropriate task to pass on to them without the big dental bills?

        We let our kids brush in the morning and we brush at night, so they have the time to build the skill but also we have peace of mind knowing they're getting 1 good brushing in per day. My 9.5 year old can do it mostly independently now, and we'll transition to that child brushing only around 10.

          Depends on the kid. My first was 7yrs old. My second maybe never hahahaha
