I have vaccinated my 6 year old fully and delayed vaccinating my 1 year old. I honestly would like to hear both sides, what makes you pro vax or what makes you anti vax? I would like to see both sides to make the decision i find best for me and my child. Thank you!

Where are we buying a good pair of high waisted workout/athleisure shorts that are not basically underwear?? I’m a taller gal and I love my denim shorts from Abercrombie (Dad shorts) but can’t seem to find something I love that’s a more casual style or working out that is a longer inseam (4ish inches maybe?) and not bike shorts. Also don’t want to spend a fortune on something my kids will smear yogurt or popsicles on within the first 5 mins of wearing.

My daughter is always finding the jets in the pool and pleasuring herself. She also does this in our jetted tub, which I don’t mind as much because it’s in private. She’ll do it in the pool even when we have guests over at times. She’s 8. I haven’t said anything yet in hopes she’ll get over it, but unsure if that’s the right approach. A friend with son told me he did the same in the pool until his early teens. I don’t want to shame these natural sexual feelings or shut something down for her that’s okay for boys. Should I comment? If so, how?

Ok I drank the koolaid on Russian manicures over the last 2 years. They really are so much better and last so much longer. ANY tips on a less egregiously expensive Russian mani?! $210 every 4 weeks is just getting to be too much!

I grew up going to sleep away camps, but they scare me a little more these days with all the technology, social media and stories these days about counselors/teachers etc doing inappropriate things?! At what age do you feel comfortable sending the kids, and how do you know if they are mature enough to tell someone if they get put into a bad situation or make sure they can stand up for themselves?!

I can tell my husband is depressed. He has been for a while and I’m just unsure how to support him right now. Not to mention we have 3 kids and I’m feeling super burnt out carrying the emotional load of the family. He’s snappy with the kids and it’s the biggest turn off. Staying at the Thunderbird and already have most of our "activities" planned. We've been before but it's probably been 10 years since our last trip. Thanks for the ideas!

We were quoted $2500 for my 4 year old to get some cavities filled with conscious sedation. (Don’t judge we literally are great brushers). Any way I took his radiographs to two other dentists just to confirm the diagnosis and they both agreed with the proposed plan from the pediatric dentist. So we are 100% going to treat, but I’m now motivated to price shop if that’s even a thing. Willing to drive across the state (we are in ATX). We have FSA funds to cover the $2500 but don’t want to drain that as we have other health expenses too. Any ideas??

Anyone have any ideas for locations to do a 3 year old birthday party in Austin? It’s in early June so will be HOT. It’s also a large group so we don’t want to do it at our house. Any parks that are particularly shaded?
