Face Skin Care HELP!

For a mid 30s mom who knows nothing about skin care and has always been bare minimum wash face & use moisturizer... needing to do better. Any good tried & true recommendations on what to do on a daily basis? Daily sunscreen/moisturizer that is thin and goes under make up well?

I went to the dermatologist this year and confessed the exact same thing to her. I have a red complexion, oily skin with dry patches, and sometimes still breakout. , I was told Toleriane products by LaRoche-Possy and both The Ordinary azelaic acid and The Ordinary niacinamide. All are reasonably priced and have helped fixed some of those issues.

Hi! I would recommend washing your face AM and PM with CeraVe SA cleanser (has smoothing salicylic acid), then apply Neutrogena Hydroboost mixed with CeraVe vitamin C (combining anti aging hyaluronic acid with brightening vitamin C), and once that’s soaked in, a thin layer of Elta MD clear sunscreen (comes in tinted or non-tinted). In the evening, wash with CeraVe SA cleanser, then on dried skin, apply CeraVe Retinol (just one pump and avoid eyelids), then CeraVe PM lotion overtop. I hope this helps! -
@UnicornLove I am also in my mid 30s and have recently been on the hunt for good clean skin care products. I really like the ilia brand tinted sunscreen, odacite skin care line and osea skin care. I stick to sunscreen, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, vitamin C and hylaronic acid. Hope this helps!
