Do you provide dinner for your babysitters?I don’t order food separate from the kids, but I do try and offer something decent for sitters. Like if we are doing pizza, I’ll make sure to have a good salad with it. Tortellini with a good sauce on the side + salad is also a go to

Favorite go to meal for friendsI had a friend make me an awesome breakfast casserole when I had a baby. It was nice to have something packed with protein etc. and ready for breakfast since other people delivered mostly dinner items

Best Plates and Bowls for Kiddos?I have used the target multi color set for years now. They can be dropped, clean easy, etc. They’re plastic so that might not work for you, but they’re inexpensive and the kids like them!

Screen Time Strategy for SummerI don’t like the whole “can I have iPad time” conversation all the time, so I set clear boundaries. iPad time is allowed on weekends only during school year and during summer

Father's Day IdeasI’m sending him golfing with his dad for the day and home made cards from the kids. Super simple!

Vacation Spots with young kids (3,6,8)We had a great family trip to Dreams Playa Mujeres. It’s an all inclusive with a kids club, water park, etc. The flight to Cancun is super easy out of Austin.

Neighbor dog barkingWe have new neighbors renting the house next door to us. The houses are close together and their dog barking is driving me crazy. It’s off and on all day long (deep and loud). And if we are outside, he barks at us right at the fence. I haven’t yet met this new neighbor….what do I do?! If you’re a dog owner, would you be offended if your neighbor voiced their frustration with your dog?

Home + Work + MoneyI agree that skill set is importantly to consider. I have seen several administrative/assistant roles available that are fully remote and part time hours or flexible hours. I’ve also seen marketing roles, graphic design, and accounting roles that are also work from home/flexible/part time. Check out The Mom Project

College saving tips@Colorful-three you can change the beneficiary of 529 to another child if you have others going to school. You can also roll it into a Roth IRA (with some contribution limits) if you opt not use it for education
-
College saving tips@EveryoneShhh I should have clarified. We went with Utah 529 and yes it’s a popular one!
-
College saving tipsThere are different options but we opted for my529. You can read on the tax benefits. We have auto payments every month

Appropriate age to stop bathing kids togetherWe are not modest at all. I still shower with my kids (oldest almost 7) and don’t see that changing any time soon. I want to mention all my kids are girls so I don’t have opposite genders. I once heard a specialist recommend being as modest as the most modest person in the household

. My favorite for fine hair is It’s a 10 but dilute it with water. It can be too heavy without diluting and the product will last much longer! I comb with a wide tooth comb after spraying onto wet hair and then scrunch and let air dry. Ideally dry before sleeping on it but that’s not always realistic. Then next morning, I avoid brushing. You can spray with water and a little product for a refresh!
