I was told to take the following supplements:
- CoQ10 (atleast 400 mg daily supposed to improve egg quality)
- Lumebox Infra red light therapy
Also of course all the other things, eat healthy, sleep and TRY to reduce stress (easier said than done).

Would love to hear from everyone about companies that are family forward. I've heard there are great companies out there that don't just say they are family friendly, but truly are!
For example, flexibility when it comes to kids activities, school related volunteer opportunities etc.
Thinking of this on a U.S. based as a lot of jobs are remote these days!! Let's hear them!
Coming in here late, there's already LOTS of great advice. My motherhood motto in life and when making hard decisions is find out what gives you the LEAST amount of anxiety. For example, for me the anxiety of having to cut back significantly on our lifestyle and way of spending was the reason while I stayed in my career. That being said, there are VERY flexible jobs that are not so high paced and high stress (tech start-up - been there before WOOF its rough)!! On another note would love to hear about companies that are family/mother friendly, maybe I will start another post on that!
We have found that we talk about private parts often and firmly. For example, anytime my son fails to put on his underwear after a shower, we will say “your penis is your private parts, and privates are put away”.
Rather than have the conversation only when it happens making it seem like a bigger deal we try to talk about it frequently.
We pay $135 for one person every other week. We also have a laundry girl that comes every Saturday. She’s $20/hr and she is typically there for 3 hours on Saturday mornings. I have all the laundry clean in the baskets (not necessarily folded) and she organizes and puts it all away. I am a working mom so it’s the best $ I spend for laundry help!
I typically like to start the year with a whole 30 in January that helps me kickstart my no drinking for January, and then I tend to cut back the next 6 months.
Mocktails are a “go to” at any dinner or social event. Also- as the above mom mentioned I like CBD drops, or CBD gummies. If you are local to Austin you can get them at people’s pharmacy!
We have a horrible 5-7 day bug over here but it’s all stomach / vomiting. It’s like they start to feel better in the morning, but then by 4 pm we are complaining about our stomach and then vomiting by 7. Is this type of flu going around too?!
Definitely do your research on breast plant illness, I've had so many friends clear all their health issues once they removed their implants. Sounds like you are not looking to get an implant, and do the fat transfer option which seems like a good path!
I explanted & did FT with Dr. Burns in Dallas. There’s a few fat transfer doctors but it’s a highly specialized field. I highly recommend you research like wild.
@whodatbritt How old are you kids? If the youngest one is under 3 it is pretty normal, and those 2nd borns are just a bit more chill about not being the center of attention. Once the 2nd born gets older he will get his voice and put him in his place HA!
@Yellow-Wolf we do a lot of prepping for the next 30 minutes - 1 hour. For example, I am going to play with you for the next 15 minutes, but then Mommy has some work to do so you will have to play on your own for 45 minutes. After the 45 minutes we can go do something together. Expectations are set up front and I also recommend getting a visual timer so they can see how much time is left vs. asking you.
@OrangeMouse Are you wanting the chair inside or outside? We LOVE our world market one, and its a GREAT price. Urban outfitters also has a good one but its more expensive, I believe like $279 and the world market is $99.
Ah @Lemon-Jackal so stressful!! The good news is when my little one was super young they told me it was a better situation for her to have Flu vs. RSV that little. I would also up her vitamin D, and then up your supplements if your breastfeeding (Vitamin D, C etc.). You may even want to go get an IV for yourself if you are breastfeeding so she can reap some of the benefits. A GREAT place in westlake for IVs and Dr.Doza will give you GREAT advice is -- a bit more holistic vs. traditional medicine. Here is his website and his practice is right by westlake drive and bee caves. You can call ahead or walk right in!

Can you provide a bit more clarification on the Eanes school you are zoned for, or if you have a short list of schools?
The dreaded lice...all 3 of my children HAD lice and little did I know I had it as well. My husband of course got away without having it! Lice Fairies in Austin TX was a life saver... we went into the salon and they removed everyone's lice.

Hi! Looking for a recommendation of a great front loading washer and drying- is there even such a thing as good ones anymore?!
I switched to top loader which worked great, but new house needs front loader again! Our old ones got so much mold in them and the clothes started to smell. HELP - because we all know there ain’t no time for not having a washer / dryer!!
My son has a fear of getting his blood drawn, mostly the fear is of the pain. Any tips or tricks?!
6 year old getting his tonsils out, please send all the tips!! How can we best prepare for this?!
Looking for the best non toxic tampons that actually work - AKA don't fall out when you walk (bare minimum) but staying put for a lunge/workout would be IDEAL!!
