We are trying to reduce seed oils in our household. Any tips on your favorite brands or foods?

Has anyone found a digital calendar for the family that works? I keep seeing ads for the skylight but wasn’t sure if anyone has it and can provide feedback on it or any others they’ve tried.

What books have you found yourself delighted to read to your kids for the first few times?! Inevitably you will read them 100s more times and they will lose their luster… but they can bring joy for a bit!

For my 4 year old: the book with no pictures, Snatchabook, Bear Snores on, Color blocked, Giraffes can’t dance, stand back said the elephant, what would Danny do (was fun in the beginning)

For the younger kids (2 and under): The belly button book by Sandra Boynton. Go Dog Go. Sheep in a jeep. I even loved the pout pout fish the first time I read that.

What are y’all asking for Mother’s Day? My birthday is this month too so I need specific ideas/links lol. I got a really cute bike with a basket last year that I picked out and riding bikes with my kiddos on the weekend is one of my favorite things to do! I wish I didn’t live in hilly Austin and had actual restaurants close by, but the bike is still so much fun! What else? I’ve never asked for/received jewelry - does anyone have pieces that are really special? Even inexpensive! Send me your ideas!!

Looking for someone to explain what PreK is to a mom who is not from the USA. I have a 3 year old - turning 4 in December 2024 and I do not understand if she is eligible to go to Pre-K, when she would be due to go to Kinder or any of the things. Thanks in advance!!

I am a huge Think Baby fan. It works well and there is something for everyone in the family.

My most recent obsession is Sky and Sol! It is so smooth and goes on like a lotion and does not leave a white tint (that my kids gripe about). I love that they use tallow, which is what makes it so smooth. It checks all my boxes as far as being clean, safe for our bodies and effective.

I wish I would have found this at the beginning of summer!

I want to know what your opinions are on all the different water filtration systems. Whole house system vs pitcher for your fridge vs fridge water filter vs stand alone Berkey filter. Whats the best considering prices and health benefits too.

My kinder boy who's almost 6, get's so frustrated with reading. If he gets a a couple words wrong he rips the book in anger. HELP ... do we need a tutor, OT, counseling??

What products do you use in your kids hair? I have zero experience with curly hair! My daughter has very fine curly hair and I’m curious about what shampoo/conditioner, should I be using both? What type of brush? What other products? At the moment I’m just using a shampoo (not curly specific) and detangler but her hair dries very frizzy.

What are the gifts you have given to your kids or other children that they absolutely loved and got a lot of use out of? I’m tired of getting junk that is touched once and put aside.
