Could be diet related (gluten and or dairy sensitivity). Did it start after antibiotics? If so adding a probiotic can be helpful. “P” fruits can be helpful - think peaches, pears, prunes, etc. Magnesium can be helpful for constipation - leafy greens & legumes are both food sources, but you could also try adding epsom salt to his bath. Chiropractic care can also do wonders for constipation.

1 year old cries when he has a BM -
Toe walkerIt would be best to get your son evaluated by a pediatric PT. Toe walking doesn’t mean he has autism. Sensory issues or abnormal (high or low) tone could have been the initial (or continued) reason for the toe walking. If he has been toe walking for this long, his Achilles tendon and calf muscle could actually be shortening making it harder for him to walk normally. Getting a PT evaluation will help you get a better understanding of why he is toe walking and how to fix it.

Best Non Toxic Tampons - that ACTUALLY Work! While it’s possible you will need to change type & size of your tampon after a major event such as childbirth, it’s more likely that underlying pelvic floor dysfunction is the cause of your tampons not staying in place. If you are not managing intra-abdominal well then your body will push the tampon out. It sounds like this is happening especially during your workouts when we typically generate more intra-abdominal pressure to generate the force needed to exercise.
A sign of good pressure management is that your tampon is further in after your workout than when it started. It’s important to be able to manage pressure effectively to prevent conditions like pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.
Based on what you have described is happening, I highly recommend you see a pelvic floor PT local to you that can coach you through good pressure management and body mechanics through functional movements to avoid long term pelvic floor dysfunction.

Progesterone while newly pregnant?Progesterone supplementation can help prevent miscarriage in the first trimester for women who struggle to produce this hormone. Typically, it isn’t needed after the first trimester once the placenta takes over, but always best to talk to your provider.
Factors such as stress and diet can play a role in your body’s ability to produce progesterone naturally.
I personally used bio-identical vaginal suppositories that I got at a local compounding pharmacy with my first pregnancy. They can make you feel a little more crummy overall.
Hang in there mama!

Driving from TX to 30AWe drove from Austin to Gulf Shores last year. Stopped at Bass Pro Shops near Baton Rouge both ways which was a hit with our toddler, we also made stops at sporting goods stores, Chick-fil-A, Buc-ees, etc. it was a lot slower than our usual pace, but we made it
.
Also thought about stopping at the aquariums in Biloxi or New Orleans, but our timing of getting to those places didn’t sync with nap time so we skipped them

Aquasauna Water FilterWe have one and love it! It comes with the faucet so my husband drilled a separate hole in our countertop using a special bit for granite and was able to install it himself. I was leary of him drilling a separate whole, but I like having it a small distance from our sprayer faucet. My parents have an RO system and their faucet is off to the side as well.

Postpartum Appointment Questions?I recommend all moms get a referral for pelvic floor PT postpartum. There are so many changes that your body went through that it’s important to get an evaluation to find any deficits you might have lingering that could lead to dysfunction long term if not addressed. Recovery from a C-section vs vaginal deliveries can have some differences, but also a lot of similarities.
If you don’t have access to a pelvic floor PT, I recommend doing some sort of core/pelvic floor recovery program to build a solid foundation prior to jumping back into your regular workouts.
The Raise with Strength - Postpartum Course is a great option that consists of 3 workouts per week that average about 20 min. It starts easy enough to start before 6 weeks if you feel ready and ends with light resistance work to gradually ramp you up. It also includes lots of educational information regarding when you should see a pelvic floor PT for a full assessment. Strengthdignitywellness.com/courses

7 day stomach bug or flu?!I’m so sorry you are dealing with this! I personally put activated charcoal in my toddler’s water when he has tummy bugs. The AC will bind any bugs/toxins in their system and help eliminate it. I also personally take it when my toddler is sick as a preventative measure. You can get the activated charcoal at Whole Foods or Natural Grocers.

Avoiding the dreaded flu and all the viruses - Immunity Hacks!!Long-term, having a healthy diet, adequate sleep, and exercise can all boost the immune system. If you or a family member commonly get sick, taking a deeper dive into gut health via stool testing & labs can be helpful.
In the short term Viracid by Orthomolecular is a great immune boosting supplement and available through my Fullscript https://us.fullscript.com/welcome/dockatiept
Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Zinc, NAC, probiotics, and elderberry are all good immune boosting supplements in times of heightened illness.
If the flu hits, all the previously listed supplements, salt & iodine baths, Oscillococcinum, other homeopathy based on symptoms in addition to staying hydrated and resting may help you feel better faster.
