I like the aloha bars! Clean ingredients, taste good and 14 g of protein. Or some energy balls/bites, navitas is a good clean brand.

VaccinationWe fully vaccinated both of our kids for the long standing vaccines that have been around for years. I believe that if something was around in the 60s really bad and then vaccine helped eradicate that, then why would I purposely put my child at risk for something that can be so easily prevented? However, I am definitely more cautious of any newer vaccines (rsv, covid, etc) because I want longer term data to make an informed decision. It’s a hard decision but you know what works best for your child with guidance from your healthcare provider!

Men are from Mars… women are from VenusTotally hear all of this! I just listened to the Mel Robbins “a guide to intimacy” with a sex therapist and that had some great info and tips. Was a super easy funny listen that y’all could both maybe listen to!

Best way to lose weight and get in shape?!Want to do the same thing! Just met with naturopath Dr. Leslie White who was so helpful with addressing my metabolic issues as a whole. She recommended the book and diet plan The Fast Metabolism. It is a 1 month plan that resets metabolism and you can eat all sorts of food, but it is no processed food, no gluten and no coffee or alcohol. Plus, definitely getting 30 g of protein every meal and daily exercise mix or weights and cardio! We’ve got this!

Career advice@awax2309 I feel you! I am currently trying to transition out of the healthcare world of patient care into more of a remote health tech role and it has been a big learning curve. I have worked with two career coaches (the second one was a much better fit, so definitely need to find the right one for you), revamped my resume, have reached out to my network of friends and have set up many coffee dates. Biggest advice is to go in with an open mind, ready to learn about all different roles you could do and focus on your transferable skills to any role. Really get out there and talk to all friends about your career goals and career shift because more than likely they know someone they can connect you with personally or via LinkedIn. Rather than going in with mindset of “please refer me to someone who can give me a job” go in with learning mindset of “I would love to learn more about their role at this company”. It can definitely be tough but as moms we can do anything!

Chemical pregnancyFor medical reasons and a non viable pregnancy my obgyn offered me the choice to take the 2 pills (misoprostal) to attempt to miscarriage or go in for a D&C. Torn what to do and would love others experiences. I’ve heard sometimes the pills don’t work, and it’s also painful and can be a long process. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Husbands says I’m not “into” sex enough…@Black-Zebra oh girl I am right there with you! I wish I had some amazing advice to offer but we are still navigating this same issue. Straight up told my husband if he wants it at that quantity it’s only going to be “quality into it sex” like 25% of the time because that’s literally ALL I have to give. We did talk about different times of day that might be better than at end of day when exhausted…it’s a tough balance and wishing you best of luck!

Leaving Workforce/ SAHM - advice!@MotherShip ahhh the never ending struggle of mom life/work life balance. It is SO hard! I work in healthcare, so not bringing in tons of money so in a slightly different situation. However, I went from being full time in healthcare to not working at all for a year to stay home and I honestly ended up feeling resentful towards my kids and husband (nothing they said or did, just how I felt). I knew I needed some kind of work to balance it out so now I work part time and am very happy with that. I feel satisfied from work (even though I’m basically making enough to cover childcare and then a little extra 🤪) AND I can be there for my kids to pick them up, volunteer at school, etc. It helps my mental health to have something to call my own (work). As much as I would love to make more financially, I decided that I will have the rest of my life to make more money with a full time job when they’re older, but I won’t be able to get this time back when they’re young and want me at school events, etc. This is just my personal experience! Best of luck!

Face Skin Care HELP!@UnicornLove I am also in my mid 30s and have recently been on the hunt for good clean skin care products. I really like the ilia brand tinted sunscreen, odacite skin care line and osea skin care. I stick to sunscreen, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, vitamin C and hylaronic acid. Hope this helps!
