Our CC bill is always around 20k a month. This includes daycare and utilities. I feel like this is really high? We don’t spend extravagantly-is it really just this expensive to live?

Had to move my 2.5 year old into the toddler bed setting of his crib because he was hurting himself by climbing and falling out. Now he’s stoked on the new freedom and waltzes out of his room a million times. Last night we tried to get him down at 7:30pm but didn’t go to sleep (and we had to go back in each time) until 10pm when he finally let us rock him to sleep. The past year he’s gone down on his own in his crib, no fight. Any tips on what we can do to keep him in his bed and in his room so we can all get sleep? We’ve tried bargaining with him (he’s way too smart), we do the regular calming routine and everything.

We are a “less is more” for the holidays kind of family, so we typically like to do just one central gift and maybe a book or some pjs etc. Anyone have any unique ideas for a central gift for a 3yo boy? We also don’t do electronics/screens so looking for something outside that box. Any ideas? (He already has a tricycle and a yotoplayer). Heeelllpppopp

Afternoon! I have a friend looking to move to Austin before their kiddo starts Kindergarten. They were set on Eanes but with all the recent announcements (Valley View closing, Spanish immersion struggling) they are expanding their search. My child is being tested for dyslexia, I’m at a loss for how I help. She refuses to do any work at home with me, won’t try to read, try to do sight words, or anything, but I have her with a tutor 2x per week. She told me she tries to hide to everyone that she can’t read (1st grade). Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve tried everything - sneaking them in, making them different ways, covering them in cheese, etc. I feel so guilty but is this normal and should I actually be worried? We did start a daily vitamin gummy which makes me feel slightly better.

Can be stateside or international, just want somewhere that’s fun for them with good safe kid activities and fun for the parents and grandparents. We’ve done 30A a few times and Cayman Islands last year and loved them all. We usually go for a week so somewhere where we won’t get bored after a few days.

Okay, during your childbirth era, postpartum etc., when did you begin working out consistently? What did it look like? How much grace did you give yourself with a new baby and how much did you pressure yourself to prioritize your physical health and fitness?

What is your favorite BPA free, non toxic cookware brand for pots and pans? Caraway is great in theory but the non stick doesn't last long and I've found the grease stains are hard to clean.

I've never tried mushrooms, but I am seeing all the hype about how Moms these days are turning to mushrooms instead of alcohol. Would love to hear others feedback, as well as where do I start?

Obviously, need a reliable source where to get them as well as the types. I don't want to hallucinate or anything!

Coming from a mama who's never dabbled in them and JUST curious!

What is your go to? I have read that miralax is dangerous and the package says not to use for anyone under 17 yet this is what Dr's always recommend. Does anyone have any other suggestions to help constipated kids without using miralax?

Have we tried pelvic floor therapy? Has it helped with strength/anything else? I'm currently having lower back pain and my doctor recommended it but wondering if it's worth the hassle.
