I sign up for a few different med spas newsletters to make sure to take advantage of all sales and discounts. For example, westlake derm just ran a discounted botox in Austin. A few other ones that I follow for discounts are Westlake Plastic Surgery (Dr.Caridi), and Viva Day Spa.

Best Non Toxic Tampons - that ACTUALLY Work!I love the Cora tampons they are super compact and small too which helps for throwing in a purse. The flex "tampons" sound great, I will have to try those next.

Christian-based counselor?Would recommend the folks at Mindful Connections. It’s been over 2 years since we went to them so def call and get a feeling if it’s a good fit.
To narrow some choices down you ideally want someone who is an actual CBT therapist and doesn’t just have the skills of one. They can be hard to find when combined with the age you need.

Colonics?I did one years ago, and I opted for the "gravity method" and remain in the room with you the entire time. That made me feel less anxiety about the whole situation. It was a really great reset, and then I made an effort to really change my diet/lifestyle etc.

Best natural bug sprayMy daughter gets horrible bites and gets attacked the moment she walks outside!
This has worked really well for us: Proven Bug Spray
It uses Picardin which is "less toxic than Deet" but really works.

Overnight summer camp age?Every kid is so different, we sent our kids once we felt that they had the confidence to speak up and say "no" if they were ever put in a comfortable situation. What I've found is it's sad, but sometimes the cheaper camps are the worst ones in regards to kids being mean, discipline and counselor responsibility.

1 year old cries when he has a BMI would also watch the amount of milk intake, and make sure they are drinking lots more water than milk. I think by now your kid should be not having anymore than like 16-20 oz of milk in the day.

Toe walkerIf you are going to your well checks at your pediatrician they would have noticed by now if it was a major concern. That being said, I always recommend PT/OT if you want to work on breaking the habit. It could be more of a sensory thing about not wanting the sole of the foot to touch the ground.

Mouth breather recs in austin txI worked with a dentist that specifically worked with kids for poor airways. Tooth pillow is a tongue and lip correction advise not specific to mouth breathing. It is not an expander, but its more around proper tongue position and behavior.
It won't work for some kids and you will still need an expander, but if your kid is young enough it could help.

Progesterone while newly pregnant?Has anyone had to take progesterone pills when newly pregnant? Wondering if its a red flag, and what to expect next.

Salt and Stone Natural DeodorantMy armpits stunk after using the Hinoki scent around the 2 hour mark. That being said, the Santal & Vetiver scent seemed to work better for me. I hate floral smelling deodorants and this one is not at all, its more woody smell.

VaccinationWe do them all, all on the pediatrician's schedule. I honestly didn't even know there was any other option. I choose to trust my pediatrician as the expert in this matter.

Shorts that aren’t too… short?@everythingisfine I have come to love this brand for all those reasons you listed...they have so many different short options and lengths!

Electric Scooters & Bikes - thoughts? We got our kids the ninebots made by Segway. We chose these because they only go up to 12 mph and you can lock the max speed from an app on your phone. We have younger and older kids, so we lock the speed pretty low for the younger kids.
We also like to ride with them and we purchased the GoTrax brand that go a bit faster, I think up to like 15 mph.
We have very strict rules when it comes to riding, you MUST wear a helmet and in our household you can't reach the max speed until you are old enough to drive a car so 16.

Masturbation in poolI had a friend experience a very similar thing in the pool, as well as splash pads with her daughter. Most important thing was not shaming the behavior and making a huge deal about it.
They had lots of talks about how that is not something we do in public. She always made it a point to relate to her and call out that I know it can feel funny/good, but that is something that is never done in front of people. Just like we don't show our privates we dont ever touch our privates in public either.
After a few conversations, simple reminders (no shaming) it started to fade and she didn't do it as often.

ISO “Ironing Lady” !!!We have been using The Cesta and they are wonderful!! Here is their site: https://thecesta.com/
They will do more than ironing, but you can just book and explain that you only want ironing etc.
