We love the applegate pork sausage links - heat up in the microwave. Then hard boiled eggs and my kids love to salt their own (which makes it more special and sometimes gets out of hand). We also do scrambled eggs with cottage cheese mixed in and they love those. Big fan of frozen waffles and pancakes over here. My favorite for weekends is these sheet pancakes from nap time kitchen https://naptimekitchen.com/sheet-pancakes/

Obsessive cleaning 5 year old? OCD?Hi! My 5 year old cleans to self regulate. He’ll vacuum the car, make his siblings beds and during free time at school he likes to sweep. He feels so much better when things are tidy! And also feels very yucky when things are messy or dirty. He literally lugs our huge vacuum up the stairs on weekends and vacuums everything. Our car is the cleanest minivan a mom of 3 kids 5 and under has ever seen! I have two other kids (and he’s a twin) so I believe it’s just in his nature and hoping it’s not me, but at what point do I need to be concerned about OCD tendencies? Anyone else have kids obsessed with cleaning? Or have older children who grew out of this phase? No idea what to tag this lol

Mothers Day Presents for YOU?What are y’all asking for Mother’s Day? My birthday is this month too so I need specific ideas/links lol. I got a really cute bike with a basket last year that I picked out and riding bikes with my kiddos on the weekend is one of my favorite things to do! I wish I didn’t live in hilly Austin and had actual restaurants close by, but the bike is still so much fun! What else? I’ve never asked for/received jewelry - does anyone have pieces that are really special? Even inexpensive! Send me your ideas!!

Working Moms, how do you find time to workout?5:30 AM workout class three days/week and it’s SO hard to get into the routine, but once you’re in it, you won’t regret it! I make my husband get up with the kids the night before if someone isn’t sleeping. He knows that I need good sleep before my MWF early mornings!

Questioning the 4th kidJust wanted to say I’m in the same boat! I’ve been hearing that you never regret having the kid, but you may regret not having one… would love to hear from any other mamas of 4!

Favorite books to read to children 5 and under? What books have you found yourself delighted to read to your kids for the first few times?! Inevitably you will read them 100s more times and they will lose their luster… but they can bring joy for a bit!
For my 4 year old: the book with no pictures, Snatchabook, Bear Snores on, Color blocked, Giraffes can’t dance, stand back said the elephant, what would Danny do (was fun in the beginning)
For the younger kids (2 and under): The belly button book by Sandra Boynton. Go Dog Go. Sheep in a jeep. I even loved the pout pout fish the first time I read that.
What else is out there?

Should I go for 4 or 5 kids?I have three kids. Twin 4 year olds and a 2 year old. I have always wanted a big family, but life is expensive and my patience is slim. Both of my pregnancies were twins, so the likelihood of having twins again is HIGH. I’m also approaching 35 which increases the chance of twins too. Moms with 4/5 kids, do you have regrets? Is it way more insane than 3 kids? Are there any things that you’ve implemented to make your life easier with so many kids?
