Yes my youngest kid has it done a little older at 7 and it helped drastically with a surprisingly quick recovery. The sooner the better in my opinion though.
We went to Poplin Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Jared Poplin in Austin, TX. Go for it.

@BoyMama best way is to get into a caloric deficit…people hate me when I say this but you just need to eat less and work out everyday. And when I say work out every day I mean walk five miles and do a yoga class. Yes every day. You will feel weird at first then you will get addicted. Go for it!
@pinkpuppy You could buy a bark collar and send it to them anonymously with a typed note saying your dog is barking all the time. Let’s start there and see if it works! I like this topic.
I keep waking up to huge dog dumps in my front yard at our new house. I have a camera so I know it is one our new neighbor’s dog who I haven’t met yet. I’m talking about a big dog here…front and center in the front yard.
Is this a declaration of war and how should I approach this matter?
FYI I love dogs, grew up with them, had a crazy border collie that ran wild and terrorized neighbors houses, etc. That was in the 90s though. How do yall handle this?
@Blue-Cat-Dog if you figure this out let me know…sometimes I just can’t. But, I received a note from my 3-year-old’s teacher after our conference that gave me chills and made me cry today, filling me with hope, inspiration, love, gratitude and ENERGY! At the end of the note she wrote that she loved being able to lead her (my daughter) closer to Jesus. Assuming you have young kids, I think we have to try harder than ever these days to keep and maintain an attitude of gratitude as life is just hectic right now. And, a solution here I think is to be sure and view EVERYTHING, good and bad, through the lens of leading ourselves and our families closer to Jesus. It’s a wonderful thought. Good luck I’m pulling for you.
What is something good for jungle, mountains, and most importantly hot springs?
I’ve looked at this before but wanted to learn more and don’t have any place picked out or locked in yet. Just always wanted to take my kids to the jungle and my favorite this is hot springs.
We have been enjoying Ozark a lot lately. It has been out for a while so sorry if you’ve already seen it. Some others that come time mind are:
(1) 1923 (Yellowstone prequel with Harrison Ford)
(2) The Perfect Couple
(3) American Primeval
These will keep his attention and stuff I think men will enjoy. Hope this helps!
Here are some I recommend that I’ve tried, I like, and that work! This is in no particular order:
(1) Cann Hi Boys
Tasty and you can get the 10 mg to double the buzz, just because…
(2) Calmezzi
This actually looks and feels like a bottle of tequila but will get you completely zooted so buyer beware
(3) Happi
I like the Turkish apple tea flavor at night time which puts Mom right sleep
(4) Birdie by Wild State Cider
All of these will get er done. If you’re in Austin, you can find them at Total Wine.
Have fun, be safe, blast off. Also, like Mom always says, don’t forget to share!!!
Last Saturday I was woken up by my teenage daughter (15) sneaking back into the house at 4:00 AM smelling like alcohol and then discovered she had taken a bottle of vodka from our liquor cabinet.
I am going through a lot of emotions about it—scared, angry, sad, disappointed are a few—but not sure exactly how to approach the situation. My main concern is her safety and just want her to ask me and communicate with me about risky behavior.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should do or where this is headed!?! Please help!
Mom’s got you! @SNHOLLI @EveryoneShhh

@LBChamp At what age did you let your kids have these?
MAGNA TILES. This did it for us. @mamacitarita nailed it with that. Make sure you get a lot or else the kids will just fight over them.
I am planning a trip to Costa Rica and we have three kids 6, 4, and 3. What are the best hotels to stay at with kids to let them run wild at the beach and hang out by the pool all day and night?
