I think it’s different for every person and every pregnancy. With my first, I started walking a week postpartum and then incorporating light workouts around a month pp when my Dr cleared me. Second baby was night and day different…I am 14 months pp right now and JUST now starting to work out again. Give yourself so much grace! What worked for me with my first baby did not with my second (at ALL) and that’s ok. Personally, I do think prioritizing mental health (and spiritual health if that’s your thing) should be a first step and then fitness comes when you have bandwidth!

Top Christmas gifts?I have a 3 yr old boy and he loves nothing more than being outside…for his birthday, we got him a round rope swing and he loves it! Other ideas: scooter and helmet, mini trampoline, or a mini bounce house (not as expensive as you’d think!).

Average amount of sex per week??Honestly, this thread took away a LOT of shame I had been feeling about not having sex enough. It’s normal to be tired and not feeling it much for a few years when your kids are young! PHEW.

3 year old affecting entire familyI have no advice, but the encouragement that you are not alone! I have a 3 (almost 4) year old…exactly the same in every way. We are also in OT and I think it’s helping a little…but it’s so hard. We feel like we’re always in fight or flight. The ONLY thing I can say is that I do feel like my son’s intellect and sensitivity will become his superpowers one day. We’re in the hard part now, but imagine having kids who grow into wise and empathetic adults?! AMAZING! We have to continue the hard work of stewarding these children well, in the meantime and it sounds like you are doing everything for your daughter to grow and succeed! Way to go, Mama!
