I would steer clear of any bars with seed oils in them which unfortunately eliminates most of them. Therefore I try to stick with whole foods as my snacks of choice. Lots of cheese sticks sometimes wrapped in deli meat (ham is my favorite), popcorn cooked in avocado or coconut oil (or homemade with butter), bananas, hard boiled eggs, siete brand tortilla chips, dry roasted cashews or pistachios.

Best Protein Powder for Smoothies? This isn't exactly what you asked, but just wanted to throw this out there, the ninja creami is a great way to get protein into kids in the form of 'ice cream'. Using the fairlife protein drinks, you end up with something that tastes very similar to the Wendy's frosty. I joke with my kids that they are allowed to have 'ice cream' for breakfast if it is one of these. Also a great way to use leftout/overripen fruit. If my watermelon has a funny texture or mango is starting to go bad, I just chop it up, blend, and freeze and it turns into a delicious fruit sorbet that my kids love - they ask for popsicles on hot days and this is a great alternative that's cheap.

Mourning Being “Done”As someone who has gone thru grief over the loss of a loved one (grief is grief no matter the loss) I will say that it comes in waves and you are never ‘done’ grieving. Give yourself grace and time to process your emotions. Hugs
