What a HOT topic these days! The important part about this is how are you being monitored? Is your prescribing provider checking your blood regularly? How often do they check in with you on your side effects, daily healthy habits, progress and goals?
Our team of trained providers will start with an initial weight loss consultation in person or virtual to assess your needs and ensure you qualify for a weight loss program. We can draw blood in the comfort of your home and review results with you in detail. Your provider will spend ample time reviewing the different names and types of weight loss injection medications. Once prescribed, we will check in monthly via telehealth and work with you to monitor progress. Would love to discuss this in more detail. Text or call the Austin team to find out more! For me, it worked but also made me so sick that I wasn’t functional. A lot of friends have done great on it. I felt horrible and so low energy

I lost 30lbs in 4 months. Can’t say I would recommend it do to side effects but it does work. But I pretty much felt awful the entire time I was on it, couldn’t wait to get off
-
@EveryoneShhh Were your side effects 24/7, also how has it been now that you are off? Are you gaining the weight back?
-
@Momster side effects lasted prob 4 days out of the week. I feel like I lost weight because I felt so bad. I hardly ate for 4 days, was nauseated and had explosive diarrhea and wicked bad reflux. When I went off I ended up gaining 7ish pounds back but it took a few months for that to happen. It works but not worth it for me having to parent with the side effects. I'm looking for something different now.

The good is that it eliminates all of the food noise and helps you to not over eat. The bad is that if you don’t use it in conjunction with healthy habits like lifting weights and eating more protein you’ll end up losing your hair and then gaining it ALL back when you get off of it. It’s definitely not a quick fix- so please please please up your protein and weight training!

The good part is that's what I had to lose as well, and you will not be hungry at all in the beginning. They start you on the lowest dose 2.5 and I never went up on it, you shouldn't have to either to just lose the 20 lbs. Only had one bad side effect when I first started the shot, really bad stomach cramps, and went and got a blood test to make sure it wasn't my gall bladder acting up. It wasn't so all was good, that is the only side effect I had with it. You feel so good losing the weight! I did the shot every week for about 6 months and then went to 2x a month, now 1x a month for maintenance. Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised! Hope this helps you with your decision! -
I did not lose as much weight as some of my friends bc it made me feel hungover. And when I’m hungover I eat carbs etc
But I feel like most people have great success. It also destroyed my energy levels. I still lost weight but maybe .5lb-1lb a week. I was expecting more!! -

It’s been tremendously helpful for me! I have lost 30lbs in the last year and feel so much better! I have been on mounjuro (compounded version not name brand) I have pCOS and have had 4 kids so it became almost impossible to loose weight on my own. I highly recommend it! The only draw back is diarrhea and stomach cramping in the beginning, but I really was determined to get the weight
Off so I stuck it out. These are easily navigated by avoiding sugar & high fat foods. I also was concerned about getting off the meds and gaining but this was not an issue. I was off for 5mos and did not gain any weight back. These drugs seem to have given my gut time to heal and made a positive impact on my weight and health.
