@BoyMama Totally agree on burning more than you consume! I’ve found that after weight training, I get super hungry, so when I want to burn, I stick to cardio and I'm usually just thirsty. I fast from 8 or 9pm to 10 or 11am (except coffee), have lots of fruit or a fruit/veggie smoothie with protein powder if hungry. Melon and papaya give me the best energy. The rest of the day, I focus on lean protein. A good probiotic for gut and magnesium for sleep/movement. Good luck!

Best way to lose weight and get in shape?! -
ADHD resourcesYYes! If you're feeling brain fog and easily distracted, there are definitely supplements that can help (agree with the orange alligator). I completely overhauled the vitamins I take, and it made a noticeable difference. Hate to be a buzzkill (literally), but cutting alcohol (esp during the week) was huge for my brain function.
If you have to move your body to be productive (a lot of ADHD do). A walking treadmill desk can be a game-changer. Also...forcing yourself to stick to a schedule. Dishes? Only during x hours. Make yourself build a new habit around schedule. It won't feel natural or good, but it really is the best thing.
And if you do want to explore meds, there are lots of options out there and definitely worth chatting with a doctor if you’re curious.

Party Favor BagsAlright mamas, what’s the deal with party favor bags—do we have to do them? Do your kids expect them? We usually toss ours within 24 hours, but I know the kids are always itching for them at the end of a party. I’ve done PEZ dispensers and lollipop holder characters before, and was thinking character ring pops this time… but my husband swears the kids want the full bag. Any ideas for favors that won’t get tossed? It’s for a 6 y/o boy!
