It is hard! We don’t do phones until 8th grade but our oldest started texting on her iPad when she was in 4th or 5th. Sometimes it was hard to feel left out of group chats or hang outs. But she was getting such a large volume of texts and only was allowed on the iPad for short times that she started wildly deprioritizing reading and engaging in texts. Also she became really busy with dance and that helped too. I do know some parents adopted the rule of no group texts. Which I think eliminates a lot of the left out feelings ️

For teenagers, we do $20/ hour in the summer and $25/hr for anyone older than high school. Hope this helps!!

I’m probably the wrong mom to ask 🤪. But we always throw them out too. Unless there’s something edible. And I always feel bad and wasteful but otherwise it’s just clutter.
I don’t do party bags unless we have a pinata or something and then they go home with the contents of the pinata.
I love the idea of pez or a ring pop!

So fun!! We like football, mahjong on the beach with a travel set, and sandcastles 🫶. Also long walks to find the coolest seashells!

I've loved Austin Sports Medicine. They did my meniscectomy and my daughter and I have both been back for other issues - always a great experience!

It was hard for us too! We ended up hiring a tutor which has helped so so much. Also, I've started off-loading homework duties to my husband who has way more patience than I do.
