I stopped working full time when my 3rd was born. I’m a CPA and worked really hard for my license and title at work. It was an extremely tough decision for me but I really wanted to be able to pick my kids up from elementary school which as we know ends super early! I eased into my new role as a SAHM by keeping part time/very flexible hours which was great but it fizzled out within a year. Now I’m a SAHM to four kids and I love it. I was basically a full time mom and a full time employee prior to this and it’s very nice to only have one title to focus on. And I rest knowing I can always start looking for another job when the time comes along. I still keep up with my former boss so I’m hoping he will rehire me if the need ever arises

Leaving Workforce/ SAHM - advice! -
Best book you read in 2024??I’m currently reading The Women and enjoying it. The entire Housemaid series was so good and led me to read several books by Frieda McFadden…The Teacher, Never Lie, One by One. All of these were great if you like suspense.
I also enjoyed The Swans of Fifth Avenue, The Maid, The Heiress, The Social Climber, and Tom Lake (I second the audiobook suggestion for this one read by Meryl Streep).

Disney Vacay - best time of year and advice??We do Disney almost yearly but we usually go in the summer so I can’t speak to other best times to visit but I absolutely would use a planner to book everything. They can offer up advice on when to go when it’s less crowded. The planners are completely free to you (they receive a commission from Disney) so it’s really a win-win to use. Courtney with My Mickey Vacation Travel is outstanding! She visits very often and knows the parks inside and out. She also is a master at booking dining for the group. Can’t recommend enough!
I always prefer to stay at a resort on the monorail or one that you can access Magic Kingdom by boat but Disney makes all the resorts a magical experience. It’s really the best place ever!

Kindergarten Help!100% agree with limited activities after school. I had my first in gymnastics and hip hop on separate days and it was pulling teeth to get her there because she was so tired. Also, limited questions about the school day until they are ready to chat. AND stick to an early bedtime. We try to have ours in bed by 7:30pm every weeknight. They need the sleep!
