I’m struggling with accepting the reality that the vast majority of moms are given the job of completely planning and running the summer itinerary. This is particularly mind blowing when both parents are working. Why does all the planning, registering, coordinating with friends and driving fall on to moms? Is anyone doing this differently and have advice for how to help me get to a good place about this?

How did I get the job of Summer Camp Bitch? -
Oral sex honestyThis is our favorite way to make sure I’m satisfied. He’s focused on the clitoris, uses his fingers in the right places and takes his time so that I can get into the right mindset and not feel pressured.

Home + Work + MoneyIt truly depends on your professional skills. I work nearly full time from home and am able to do it because I’m a communications strategist and copywriter— jobs that allow me to do my work without a ton of meetings. I get assignments with due dates and am able to knock them out when I have time. My kids are in school full time, but even when they weren’t I simply took on fewer assignments. So, I recommend finding a virtual gig that aligns with your skill set.

Lice help!!My daughter has curly hair and we tried doing it ourselves twice. I finally gave up and went to the hair fairy. It was worth the money. And, an important piece of advice she gave me is that you don’t actually have to wash anything! You can either 1) put it in a plastic bag for 72 hours or 2) put in the dryer for 2 cycles. Knowing that lice can’t live without being on a human for more than 72 hours made me feel SO much better about all the clothes and stuffed animals and sheets! Also, make sure you keep your kid’s hair in a ponytail or braid for the remainder of the year- that’s a huge preventative measure.
