I say “bitch please” quiety under my breath and the take a deep breath. I remind him that I give him everything and more in life and that is a privilege. Lexapro has also helped tremendously in dealing with all the boys in my household.

I think it matters in which way. How is he being rude and to whom is he being rude to?

I am a parenting coach and help families with this all the time. If you’d like a free consult - I’d love to talk about how coaching can help you make changes with the way you both communicate with each other. Https://calendly.com/susparenting

          Helping parents become Sustainable Parents:
filling the gap between gentle parenting and harsh discipline, so you can parent with kindness and firmness at the SAME time, and parenting finally feels sustainable.
