Can anyone share positive experiences going off of Zoloft positively affecting your libido? Weaning off and would love some encouragement!

Weaning off was the absolute worst for me. I’ve been in it after each postpartum period and I’ve learned to go extremely slow.
Yes, libido came back once things leveled out. Give yourself time and grace.

I went through this and it was a lot of trial and error...what i learned is be patient and GO SLOW!!!

If withdrawal symptoms occur, it usually means the taper is too fast, and slowing down can help. Obviously work with your doctor, but I did something similar to this:

Week 1: I went from 50mg to 25 mg every other day
Week: 2-4: took 25 mg for the next 3 weeks
Week 5: 25 mg every other day then decreased to every 3 days for the remainder until I was done with my final months supply.

You should speak with your doctor, as she may prescribe a different anti depressant that doesnt have that common side effect.

I have found a supplement that helps solve that problem for me (L-Arginine supplement), I am also on Lexapro though which I have had a great experience with.
