I might be done with kids, and I definitely want at least a lift. I’ve debated implants my whole life but at this point, I’m more aware and concerned of the risks. Anyone shed some light on their thought process whether to get or not to get implants? Doctor recommendations?

I’ve done the consult with Dr Gordon but haven’t followed through (yet).
I want a lift just bc I want to avoid having an implant in my body. It won’t look as nice as an implant but I’m fine with that. We discussed doing a fat transfer.

My friend had them done by the same Dr and she wanted a natural look and that’s what she got but she’s contemplating going back for a revision to make them perkier and less natural looking haha

Hi! I am in the same boat as you and unfortunately after seeing so many friends with breast plant illness, I want to avoid implants at all costs. That being said, I have had a good amount of friends who have gotten a lift, and they take fat from somewhere else on the body if you don't have enough skin.

I would get a couple different consultations with a couple drs, here are a few I have been recommended and looking into:

        1. Dr. Burns in Dallas - specializes in fat transfers
        2. Follow @drbednarmd on instagram! Not sure if you’re willing to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, but he posts awesome fat transfer breast augmentations for reference!

Lastly, theres a dr in Austin that people fly in from all over the world for explant surgery - Dr. Robert Whitfield. I would probably start with a consultation with him as he prob has a recommendation of best process and practice, based on he specializes in explants and removing breast plant illness.

          Hey there,
I went through this procedure and would say I am super happy with the results and that I finally pulled the trigger on moving forward with this long awaited decision. I consulted with 3 doctors and landed with Dr. Chris Schneider at Austin Face and Body. His bedside manner, philosophy of his practice and price point all felt right to me. I encourage you to consult with him and be decisive about what you want to gain from this decision- I knew I would be so happy with the results and I am. Recovery isn't much of a hardship aside from the 1st week and even then if you are a healthy person and follow his procedures leading up to and after, healing was relatively fast and with pain that was manageable while still having to participate in family life!

Yes - implants! Happy I tried it, but really look into the breast implant illness. I plan to remove them because they aren't worth the potential fatigue and inflammation I am now confident they cause. Also don't regret trying it! Also don't believe bigger is better.
