My tips would be to clear your schedule for the first few weeks so that your kindergartener can come home from a long day at school and just decompress without having a busy extra curricular schedule. It’s a LOT of work for them to focus and perform in school (especially if they’re coming from half-day preschool), so being able to go home, have a yummy snack, relax, and just process the day, is really important!
