    As someone who doesn't currently have kids, I would love to know how to actively support my friends that do. I never want to be in the way because I know the "sometimes it's just easier to do it myself" is a real thing.

      SUCH a great question. You are so thoughtful. I think one of the best ways to support a friend is giving her a lot of grace because she'll likely cancel on you, forget to text back more than she used to. It's not because she doesn't care and likely stresses her out and she feels guilty. Tangible ways, I would say bring dinner or wine
