Flying Tips
-
Hi!
I am flying with my 14 month old next week. He is a very busy bee and doesn’t like to stay seatedAny tips on how to make a 2 hour flight go smoothly?
Planned the flight during his normal morning nap time but he’s now started boycotting naps so not feeling confident he’ll sleep.
I’d really prefer to not break out the iPad/ shows if possible.

There are lots of tips out there, especially on Instagram. Here’s a good one: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cq508xvABjv/?igsh=MWgyZzJqcWNiM2s5NA==
Bring little toys and snacks. That age is tough. They’re just very wiggly and not old enough for screens anyway. I use a drop down travel toiketry bag that I hang from the seat in front of us or the tray table lock so it’s easy to access little toys.

SNACKS. Literally so many snacks. Different snacks then they are used to, even lollipops for taking off (i'm sure you can find some sugar free ones or whatever somewhere). There is a snack spinner that i'll try and find a link.
Window sticker things you can get in the $5 section at target. I would get a window seat so they can play with the window. Magnatiles. Some Benadryl but make sure to test it beforehand and run it by your pediatrician. Also extra clothes for you and for baby in your carry on. Idk why blow outs always happen on planes.
Something to suck on for take off and landing. Lollipop, bottle, pacifier etc -
Snacks, snacks, and more snacks! And new novel toys!
