Vacation Spots with young kids (3,6,8)

Hi! Looking for recommendations on great vacation spots. Family friendly, as our kids are 3, 6 and 8. We were looking into Bahamas, Mexico, but open to anywhere. Looking to go in July timeframe. Not looking for 30A or Destin, done that and feel that its too crowded these days.
Would love recs on places, hotels etc.

Are you set on the beach? What about a dude ranch? I don't have specific recommendations but my husband mentioned it to me a couple days ago that he wants to go this somewhere. Somewhere in the mountains

In Mexico it's hard to beat Mayakoba or Punta Mita with kids. July will be hot! @Purple-Animal has a great thought with the Mountains. There are lots of family friendly dude ranches in Montana and Wyoming that my clients love! My favorite little mountain town in Colorado is Crested Butte. We just did Kiawah island in SC, and it was a winner! The beach is quiet (honestly reminds me of 30A 15 years ago) it is super safe. We rented a house through The Sanctuary Resort and had access to their kids pool with waterslides, nighttime boat cruises to see dolphins, and a nature center with kids' activities. It was dreamy!

Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen outside of Cancun is great with young kids. Tons to do all day long and lots of food options. Kids loved it!

San Diego could be a great place to go! It’s very family friendly, has an amazing zoo, beach, and just great weather. Highly recommend!

Telluride is also a great summer vacation with young kids. Tons of outdoor activities and gondola to take into town. Recommend staying in Mountain village with kids

We went to Gulf Shores a couple of summers ago and it was great! We decided to drive because of all the beach gear/needing to take some things to the condo we rented, but it wasn’t too terrible. We stopped in New Orleans on the way (very nice zoo there!) and the beach is so beautiful there!

San Diego is a great vacation for those ages! I was honestly hesitant/had no desire to go, but we ended up having the best time. There are so many activities - kayaking with sea lions, the zoo, beaches and lego land just to name a few.

Jupiter, Florida is a great place! Stay at Jupiter Beach resort right on the beach, but great shopping, great zoo, Lion Country Safari, Rapids Water Park, Loggerhead turtle sanctuary, Bush Wildlife sanctuary, can climb the lighthouse, cute carousel at Gardens shopping area (in front of Gardens Mall- great mall), visit Palm Beach and the list goes on...
