My 4 year old is really struggling with the bedtime transition. Friends swear by a weighted blanket for kids. How do I use the blanket for the best results at bedtime?

@BirdBird highly recommend a 5 lb weighted blanket and using it in short stints, like to watch 1 show before bedtime to help calm his body in prep for sleep!

I agree with using it to help them wind down. Watching a show or playing a game before bed. One of my kids really like theirs and the other does not gravitate towards as much. We also lay it over them if they are having a hard time settling in bed.
