Easy, quick go to kid breakfasts
-
Applegate chicken sausage-heat in microwave. Or egg muffins-spray a muffin tin, scramble eggs and add whatever ingredients (ham, pepper). You can freeze them.
-
Eggo waffle with peanut butter or a bagel from Starbucks on the go are our go-to, although I have a really picky eater so we can’t get too creative.
-
We love making a batch of oatmeal and then keeping in fridge for a few days. Or making waffles ahead of time and freezing.
-
We love the applegate pork sausage links - heat up in the microwave. Then hard boiled eggs and my kids love to salt their own (which makes it more special and sometimes gets out of hand). We also do scrambled eggs with cottage cheese mixed in and they love those. Big fan of frozen waffles and pancakes over here. My favorite for weekends is these sheet pancakes from nap time kitchen https://naptimekitchen.com/sheet-pancakes/

Alyssa’s Oat Bites are great with some fruit, easy breakfast taco (egg cheese tortilla), Greek yogurt with honey and fresh fruit and sprinkles, toast (sourdough with butter and a pinch of salt or a sprinkle of cinnamon, croissant toast from Costco or Whole Foods, granola over yogurt, or the most recent request from my kids…a pizza tortilla…flour tortilla w/ marinara sprinkled with mozzarella microwaved. To each their own!
