Anyone have any ideas for locations to do a 3 year old birthday party in Austin? It’s in early June so will be HOT. It’s also a large group so we don’t want to do it at our house. Any parks that are particularly shaded?

(Mostly South Austin Recs) Play Street Museum is great, I think parties include 20 kids plus an additional fee for extra kids. My Gym does great parties that have some activities led by their staff. We went to a birthday party at Metz Splash pad in East Austin, it wasn’t super crowded, they had picnic tables for breakfast tacos and the cupcakes. We also like Dick Nichols Park where you can reserve picnic tables and they have a water feature that is simple and perfect for just 3 year olds, also there volleyball courts serve as a massive sand box. Pease Park is also fun and has the option to reserve picnic tables plus they usually have a snow cone cart that does a bubble party and they have a splash pad too.

Lost creek park is shaded, has a bathroom and a pavilion to rent out. Bee Cave park has the same. Rollingwood park is also shaded but unsure on the bathroom situation.

If you want inside, we’ve done Champions! They have locations at WAYA and on bee caves and both are great for that age! The bee caves one is bigger and has more to do! We’ve also done my gym on 290.

Pikopeye, almost grown cafe, play street museum, any gymnastics gym (champions, Acrotex), dance studios typically do parties for littles
