Best protein bar/snack for busy ladies on the go?!? Which brand? Which flavor? Cleanest ingredients would also be great!

Chomps sticks. I’ve been super into honey crisp apples right now. Can bring some little peanut butter packets too. String cheese. Peppers or cucumbers and hummus.

Okay realizing none of these are bars hmm let me think

When I have three minutes before I have to run out the door I make a quick almond butter sandwich on whole wheat toast or sourdough. Sometimes I add honey and cinnamon (helps regulate blood sugar). It's hard to find a good protein bar without too much sugar. In a pinch I like Lara Bars (and my son likes them, too), but I try not to make them a habit.

I like the aloha bars! Clean ingredients, taste good and 14 g of protein. Or some energy balls/bites, navitas is a good clean brand.

I do agree that I have had trouble finding clean bars, that taste good as well. A few I like below:

            1. FitCrunch - taste good, but also works for macro counting (not tons of sugar)
            2. Simply Protein bars - taste like a rice krispie treat, but lots of protein
            3. ProBars MEAL bars are great, but their protein bars are NOT so great

Honestly I have not found a good protein bar I love! I have found some good protein snack options though that I really like.

Aldi's nacho cheese protein puffs taste pretty good and also are low calorie. Other things I like for on the go snacks, beef jerky (clean grass fed brands), WILDE and Quest both have good protein chip options and OFF THE FARM brand protein bars are pretty decent and yummy.

Other snacks I like to carry in my purse as options:

              • Roasted Edamame (the ONLY BEAN - ranch flavor is delicious)
                -wasabi peas
-Old fashion make your own trail mix!

An NYC mom turned me on to Zing bars y'all! Also mix some Seeq protein powder into your water. We like the yellow and blue tubs best!

Macrobars! I’m partial to the peanut cutter choc chip flavor.

Recommend Aloha and MUSH bars, trail mix, chomp sticks, cheese sticks, dried edamame or chickpeas, drinkable siggi or chobani yogurts, made good energy bites or bars, hippie peas, to go bags of popcorn, fruit, chocolate covered almonds

I would steer clear of any bars with seed oils in them which unfortunately eliminates most of them. Therefore I try to stick with whole foods as my snacks of choice. Lots of cheese sticks sometimes wrapped in deli meat (ham is my favorite), popcorn cooked in avocado or coconut oil (or homemade with butter), bananas, hard boiled eggs, siete brand tortilla chips, dry roasted cashews or pistachios.
